Why our lawn mowing works here

Season-right cut height

Taller cuts through the Southern Maryland summer heat protect roots and crowd out crabgrass; shorter in spring and fall.

Sharp blades, clean stripes

Blades sharpened regularly so grass is sliced, not torn — that's what keeps a lawn green instead of tan-tipped.

A schedule you can set a watch to

Same day each week, a text when we're on the way, and no skipped visits during peak growth.

Lawn Mowing FAQs

How often should I mow my lawn in Southern Maryland?

From April through June, tall fescue in Calvert and St. Mary's County grows fast enough to need weekly mowing. In the heat of July and August growth slows and every other week is usually plenty. We adjust your schedule with the season rather than charging for cuts your lawn doesn't need.

What height do you cut tall fescue?

Most Southern Maryland lawns are tall fescue, which does best between 3.5 and 4 inches. We keep it on the high side through summer so the soil stays shaded and cooler, then drop it slightly for the final fall cuts.

Do you bag the clippings?

By default we mulch clippings back into the lawn — it returns nitrogen and it's better for the turf. If growth got ahead of us or you prefer a bagged finish, we'll bag and haul on request.

What happens if it rains on my mow day?

We shift you to the next dry day that week and text you the new time. We won't mow a saturated lawn — it ruts the soil and tears the grass.

Do I need to be home for service?

No. As long as gates are unlocked and pets are inside, we mow, trim, edge and blow, then text you when the visit is complete.
